Professional Engineering Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Smith, RLA, LEED AP, Lauren Williams, RLA, LEED AP, and Rachel Sugden, PE, LEED AP have achieved their LEED-Accredited Professional certification.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a program coordinated by the US Green Building Council that establishes a framework to promote sustainable design practices and establish a publicly recognized certification system. The USGBC recommends that any project pursuing LEED certification include a LEED Accredited Professional as a primary design team member.
Our LEED AP is able to assist via the following services:
- establish eligibility / preliminary assessment
- project registration
- host design charrettes
- identify pertinent sustainable design strategies
- aid in preparation of credit documentation
- develop / submit credit interpretation requests (CIR)
- application submittal
- submit credit or certification appeals
