MDOT Road & Hydraulics Design Survey
M-37 Reconstruction & Widening, Battle Creek, MI

Project Description:
PEA conducted road design survey services for the Michigan Department of Transportation in association with an effort to widen and reconstruct M-37 from Creekview Drive to Banfield Road. This survey was conducted and prepared to meet MDOT’s exacting standards.  

Services Provided:
PEA’s operations consisted of research, control work, topographic mapping, hydraulic surveys and establishment of alignment. Additionally, PEA conducted extensive property and right-of-way research to evaluate and resolve numerous general ambiguities in property ownership for the purpose of easement and acquisition associated with the project. MDOT traffic maintenance and safety regulations were followed and all documents were compiled per MDOT guidelines. PEA utilized the MDOT recommended CAiCE survey software.
